Calm Down Fibers

Hi, I'm Corie Julius. I started spinning about 7 years ago. What started out as a desire to learn to spin turned into acquiring wooly animals, spinning wheels, a floor loom, and  learning all the amazing things you can do with wool!

Our mission  is to explore local, and sustainable ways of dying and prepping natural fibers. And to support the anyone who is interested in learning the same things through classes and demonstrations. 

Calm Down Fiber products are mostly made from Downy wool, Angora wool from rabbits (because we have rabbits)  Wool, yarn and hand-made items are either their natural color or dyed using native plants and minerals from the surrouniding landscape.  Handspun yarns  come in different colors, weights, and textures, making it easy for you to find the perfect yarn for your project.
